  • Briefly describe a pedagogic concept or approach that you have learned in your studies as a ELS/SLT student that you think will be helpful in your own classroom. Explain why. (Maximum 250 words)

  • Marginalization is present in the classroom in many ways. As an educator, not only are you a facilitator for the teaching and learning of subject matter, you are helping students become global citizens and develop social and soft skills. Tell us what marginalization means to you and what you plan to do to address marginalized students and accommodate their needs.

  • Create a lesson plan for a short, creative activity that focuses on a particular ability of your choosing (i.e. oral comprehension) for an FLS/ESL class. Use as much detail as you see fit. Important: A teacher should be able to read and understand your lesson plan enough to deliver it.
