General Information

SAFA will be offering $53,000 in scholarships this year for eligible undergraduate students; $25,000 at the MA level and $28,000 at the SAFA level. These awards are the Research Scholarship, Volunteer Scholarship (AKA the Volunteer of the Year Award), the Internal Scholarship, Live, Laugh, Love Award, Bourse de la francophonie, International Students Scholarship, and the Innovation award.

Scholarship Requirements:

All scholarships are open to members of the Student Association of the Faculty of Arts (including arts majors, minors and micro-program students).

In some cases, scholarships are offered to a specific group of students, and only applications from those students will be considered for those awards.

 

All applications will be reviewed by the SAFA Scholarships Committee and will be subjected to the review process as outlined in the SAFA Constitution.

 

Each Scholarship has its own set of requirements, and applicants should read the requirements carefully to avoid any confusion.

 

Unless otherwise stated, the submissions for the scholarships should be in PDF or Word document format and limited to the number of pages stated in the prompt.
