Scholarship Description
Win one of three awards of up to $1200 by submitting the following work: Students must submit an essay that engages with the work of at least one author of colour in considerable depth. The essay should make use of secondary research, and at least one of these secondary sources should be written by an author of colour. The essay should be no more than 2,000 words and should follow MLA formatting guidelines. Students have the option to edit and/or reuse essays that they have written for their classes, so long as they meet the requirements. If they choose to edit previously written essays, they only need to submit the final version of their essay.
