The VP Francophone Affairs advocates for the rights of Francophone Arts students. They run events, do translations, and ensure the quality of French-language programming in the Faculty.

VP Equity
The VP Equity works to ensure all arts students are treated fairly and with respect. They help students navigate equity issues, work to resolve EDIA problems with the faculty, and run trainings and resource events.

The VP Volunteers and Mas is responsible for working with our volunteer members of the SAFA and making sure that they are supported in their roles. They also help with the management of the organization and ensure that everything in our Member Associations is running smoothly.

Director of Philanthropy
The Director of Philanthropy is responsible for ensuring that the SAFA is an active member in
our community by actively working to sponsor non-profit organizations and community
movements that have a positive impact on the Ottawa area. They are also for planning some
events and meeting with sponsors.

The Director of IT works with the Communications VPs to help update the website, social media
platforms and other digital platforms used in communicating within the SAFA. They have a
varied workload and are fairly open to different experiences in this role.

The Director of Advocacy works with the VP University Affairs, Equity and Francophone Affairs to ensure the needs of Arts Students are being met by the University. They work in a team with the VPs to help coordinate different efforts to ensure that the University is held accountable for providing aids and services to the students.

The Chair of the Board of Directors chairs all meetings of the Board and organizes the General Meetings. They are the highest authority on interpreting the SAFA constitution.
